Thunderbird genuinely *Sucks* at scrolling.

How are you handling it?

Troll fingers are often scaly or clawed. Many computer mice don't work
well with appendages like that. Not obvious why Thunderbird is relevant.

Troll fingers
One of these days you're not going to act out publicly,
pissing yourself in an infantile tantrum, but today is
clearly not that day.

What "Triggered" you this time? Be honest, speaking
rhetorically.

There can be hundreds even thousands of headers, I have nine or
10 on the screen at one time, the one thread I'm looking for is
maybe 42 headers down, I've go to scroll down...

It doesn't seem to want to handle it. Very imprecise. There
doesn't seem to be a good way to do it, not without marking
everything in between as read.

9 or 10? You need a bigger screen. Problem solved. Are you trying to do
this on your phone? If so, I suggest getting a real computer.

I'm on a 15.4 inch display. And the problem isn't my screen, it's that
Thunderbird can't handle scrolling properly.

You could have ignored me entirely or, failing that, just said
something like "Gee, I have no idea how to get it to scroll right."

I don't need to know how to get it to scroll right since I have no
problem with scrolling. But I also can fit something over 40 posts onto
my screen, so scrolling seems not to be your only problem. I can't solve
your problems, but it might help to know that they're unique to you, so
not exactly Thunderbird's fault.

I've used t-bird for mail, with hundreds of messages
(one archive folder has over 5000). On an older machine
I had with 4 gb of ram everything was slow (which would
include scrolling). Now I have machines with 16 and
32 gb of ram so paging is a non issue. If you've only
got 4 gb of ram that would explain a lot.

Still can't figure out how he can have only 9 or 10 headers at a time.

Let's see how high you can count.

Take your time. And your meds.

Damn. You are *Such* a fucking idiot...

If you weren't mentally disturbed I might try suggesting that
you pick your battles more carefully. But you are mentally
disturbed so I'd just be wasting my time.

Anyhow, congratulations of shoving your foot in your mouth,
again. You're very well practiced.

Yes, this is definitely a PEBMAC issue (problem exists between monitor
and chair).

If you were sane you would have looked back at all your
other ill chosen battles, realized you are still every
bit as fucked up, and not responded at all.

How so? And you even get to cheat, ask people to help
you come up with an answer! But you're not even
qualified to manage THAT, now are you?
